Exciting New Programme
Suas is piloting an exciting new programme for Global Issues Course Graduates in DCU that supports them to put their learning to work through action projects delivered in local communities in Ireland. Poverty, injustice, inequality, sustainability- all of these affect people in Ireland as well as people in the Global South.
Global to Local...Joining the Dots
This pilot programme is a call to students who feel the time is right to join the dots between global and local, to engage with our communities and to get active and involved in making change happen. This is a unique programme, one that connects learning with real communities, real issues and challenges and real opportunities to make change.
Empowering you to Lead Change
Suas will support students throughout with training, resources and mentoring. Participants will design, implement and evaluate a focused action plan with a local community group, serving community needs while acquiring skills in and deepening understanding of
- Personal leadership
